For 35 years, ECOPALETTE has embodied a family success story deeply rooted in the Saint-Étienne region. The adventure began in 1986 when Florence and Fabienne Rigaud, with the help of their parents, had the visionary idea of recovering used pallets from businesses to put them back into circulation. This innovative concept proved to be a real success, paving the way for the creation of a thriving business.
In 1989, Jean-Marie Manoha, Fabienne's husband, saw the opportunity to structure this activity by launching a company dedicated to the repair and manufacture of wooden pallets. Faced with growing demand, the company quickly expanded. In 1992, a decisive turning point was reached with the construction of the first building in Firminy, marking the merger of the two family structures under the name ECOPALETTE.
A family business at the heart of innovation for 35 years
The company's growth accelerated in particular with the development of custom manufacturing and the acquisition of new premises. The 2000s marked a key stage with the investment in modern machine parks, allowing the partial automation of production workshops. This technological advance positioned ECOPALETTE as a major player in the wooden pallet industry. In 2019, the company took a new step by acquiring its historic partner, E2SE, a leader in wooden collars, wooden packaging, as well as new and used pallets. This strategic acquisition strengthened ECOPALETTE's sales network and enabled it to expand its product offering.
Today, ECOPALETTE-E2SE stands out as one of the largest manufacturers of wooden pallets in the region.
With an extensive commercial presence throughout the national territory and internationally, covering countries such as Belgium, Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Tunisia, and even Mauritius.
The family history continues to be written with the active involvement of the new generation. Édouard and Arthur perpetuate with passion and determination the legacy of ECOPALETTE/E2SE, ensuring the sustainability and innovation of this company that combines tradition and modernity.
